There are many resources on the web for people who are deafblind, their friends and family. On the ground help and support is often harder to find. The following is a short list of just some of the resources available:

Service Providers in NSW

RIDBC
The Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children provides services to children who are deaf, blind or deafblind, including schooling, early intervention and audiological services. It also hosts the campus of Renwick College (an adjunct of the University of Newcastle) which provides in-service and continuing education services to teaching professionals in the area of sensory disability.

Guide Dogs (NSW and ACT)
The principal provider of orientation and mobility training services to long cane users, guide dog users, and other people with vision loss in NSW and the ACT.

Deaf Society of NSW
The Deaf Society provides a range of services to people in NSW who are deaf or hearing impaired, including an interpreter booking service.

Tactile Terps 

Interpreter booking Service, not only particularly for Deafblind people, but also for Deaf interpreting as well.

The peak body of blind and vision impaired people in Australia.
